So here is the thing with wipes, wipes are no miracle products. You can not expect a wipe to remove all your make-up and sunscreen and also deep cleanse your pores. Wipes are the best invention for the lazy lady’s amongst us and for frequent travellers but you have to know how to use them! You need to use wipes as a pre-cleanser and not as your one and only cleanser.
I discovered the Meraki Make-up Wipes (20 psc/€2) in this beautiful store in Amsterdam Oud Zuid called Babassu. Meraki is designed and developed in Denmark and inspired by Scandinavian aestetics.
Meraki offers you products with gentle, active and nourishing ingredients, all of which are carefully selected for their qualities, documented effect and natural fragrances.
Meraki is formulated without parabens, colorants, SLS and endocrine distrubting substances. The essential oils and basic oils used are 100% organic which I like! The wipes are not too wet and not too dry, the frangrance is very ‘clean’ and fragranced with Aloë Vera. After using the wipes I follow up with a nice cleanser because I want to be 100% sure that my skin is as clean as possible, sometimes I exfoliate and cleanse after using the wipes but that depends on how much time I have on my hands. Today I have used the wipes right after work to remove my sunscreen my make-up and like I said earlier I followed up with my Tata Harper cleanser.
You can find Meraki (and Tata Harper) exclusively at Babassu
