PHYTO TEINT ECLAT NOW ALSO AVAILABLE FOR DARK SKIN TONES

As you might have already noticed I don’t like to use foundation because of the cakey effect. I like my makeup as basic as possible. I am a huge fan of the ‘makeup no makeup’ look. I was pleasantly  surprised when I discovered that Sisley Phyto Teint Eclat (€89,50/30ML) has some shades that suit darker skintones. I tried shade #6 ‘Amber’ and #7 ‘Moka’ and I loved the ‘Amber’ shade on me, the ‘Moka’ shade is to dark for my skintone.

The Phyto-Teint Eclat is a long-wearing and light fluid foundation. It ensures an even, natural, and radiant complexion. It provides a delicately powdered finish that is like a second skin. Its easy application allows for adjustable coverage. Enriched with gardenia, woodmallow, and Linden blossom, it leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft. Its oil-free, non-comedogenic formula is appropriate for all skin types

I applied the Phyto Teint Eclat with my DIOR Backstage Blender by patting the foundation into my skin for a natural look. It really looks like a second skin and believe me I don’t like heavy make-up but this foundation is just perfect! The coverage is medium so if you have a lot of acne scars and dark spots I wouldn’t recommend it because you will end up using alot of product. This foundation is from Sisley, this brand is known for its expensive products. Sisley beats nearly every brand with its pricerange but I have been told that the Sisley family uses only the best ingredients. I have combination  skin and too bad for me my T-zone turns very greasy at the end of the day.  I hate to look like a oil slick after a couple of hours, I am very pleased that The Phyto Teint Eclat is oil free. I still need to figure out if it photographs (flash) good but I don’t have any doubts since it doesn’t contain SPF. There is one downside! My undertone is yellow and the undertone of the Phyto Teint Eclat is quite pink. I think that it can become a bigger downside after oxidation.

PROS

– A good shade range, even for darker skintones;

– Medium coverage;

– Semi matt finish;

– Feels very good (lightweight texture) on my skin;

– Some good ingredients.

CONS

– Pink undertone (personal preference)

The foundation might look light on the skin but it blends in tremendously well!
