I completely agree with the Asian ritual of double cleanse. Asian people remove make-up and bacteria with an oil cleanser, then follow up with a regular cleanser (foam, cream, soapbar) this routine helps top rep the skin for moisture. I discovered the double cleansing method a few years ago and it totally make sense. When I cleanse my face in the evening I always double cleanse. Caudalie has launched a 100% natural-origin hypoalergenic and non-comegenic cleansing oil to dissolve all types of (heavy duty) make-up including your waterproof make-up. the oil comes in a 100 ml pump bottle and contains castor seed oil, sweet almond oil and grape seed oil.
I can’t recommend the Caudalie Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil highly enough, it removes my make-up quickly and doesn’t leave much of a residu behind. I always use it as my first night cleanser. I like the fact that it lasts a a long time because I just need one pump (no need to use more) to remove my make-up. The only thing that you have to do is rub the cleansing oil over the flats of your hands, apply it on dry skin and work it in. When splashed with luke warm water the formula transforms into a milky emulsion. And the greatest part of all? I haven’t experienced any break outs yet! My skin is combination to oily so oil cleansers scare me off sometimes but this one
I have some hormonal acne at this moment and I don’t want to make it worse. Overall in my opinion the Caudalie Makeup Removing Cleanser Oil performs really well and I would highly recommend it for all skintypes.
