Hi guys I want to share my everyday make-up essentials with you and also tell you why I choose to use these products on (almost) daily basis.

Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof #20 ‘Espresso’
For a natural look I like to use a brown eyeliner on my upper and lower lashline. I don’t always line them both but for a natural look the shade must be definitely brown for me! You can blend it out a little bit with a smudge brush to avoid the harsh line. I love this pencil because it is 1. Waterproof, and smudgeproof (good for my constantly teary eyes)  and 2. Sharpener free is mess free! Just wind it up or down and your ready to go. The buid in sharpener will refresh the pencil point when needed.  No more sharpener dirt stains in your make-up bag. 3. The ‘Espresso’ shade is very nice.  I hate brown eyeliners with red in it, but this shade is just perfect. 4. The staying power is very good! I have teary and oily eyes but Chanel does what it claims. (€24,50)

Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick ‘Bronze’

I got this amazing bronzer/highlighter as a birthday present and I can’t live without it anymore. I chose ‘Bronze’ because this shade complements my dark skintone very well. I personally don’t like it as a blush because my skin is combination to oily and I don’t want to look like a disco ball at the end of the day. You can use the Shimmer Brick as a blush too but I only use it to highlight my face. My blushshades are quite deep (Raizin /Ambering Rose both Mac) and in combination with the shimmerbrick ‘Bronze’ on top of my cheekbones my makeup looks really ‘on fleek’ . The shimmer brick will last you a very long time but please don’t let it fall. Mine is broken now because it didn’t suvived the smack. I will definitely repurchase. (€47)

YSL Mono Coutoure eyeshadow # 13 ‘Fougue’

Good staying power, a natural color range which I like and it applies smoothly on my eyelids. Shade #13 ‘Fougue’ is a very nice brown color for a everyday look. Check my review for more information about this eyeshadow. I use it on top of my eyeprimer (also YSL) for a polished look. If I want a subtile smokey eye I choose this color to enhance my  bottom lashline. (€31.95)

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder SPF 15

My favourite powder! Everything is right about this product. The velvet pouch, the pretty beige case with the black Chanel logo, the sheerness and the fact that it gives that healthy glow to my skin. It doesn’t leave me matt at all. I normally skip facepowders because facepowders are characterized by making everyone look unnaturally matt. I do tend to get oily during the day and I must admit that this is not the best powder to reapply when my face turns oily, it can make me look kind of greasy instead of glowy. During summer times I wear this powder on its own on top of my skincare and spf. During winter times I use it on top of the Chanel Healthy Glow Fluid and it covers up very well, still sheer but good. The gel  has spf 15 and my skin looks plump because of the hyaluronic acid derative blended in the gel.  I don’t like foundation because it makes me look so cakey. I guess I just haven’t found a good one yet. I use the Chanel Retractable Kabuki Brush to apply the Healthy glow Powder and I really like the brush. The bristles are very soft but dense, made from synthetic-fiber and they pick up the product very well. I would not recommend the Kabuki brush if you want to use the Healthy Glow Powder as a bronzer or if you are using a shade darker then your skintone, because if you pick up to much product it can still look cakey on your skin. If the powder matches your skintone perfectly I would definitely recommend the Kabuki brush in combination with the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder. (€48)

Mac Sheertone Shimmer Blush Ambering Rose

The shimmering version of my other favourite (Raizin by Mac Matte range). A very nice natural blush with just enough shimmer. The color is perfect on medium/tan to dark skin. This blush is a true every day blush it gives the cheekbones a nice natural amber/rosy color and it looks good with everything. The color is buildable but I like to use a light hand to keep it as natural as possible. It teams up very nice with the shimmerbrick in ‘Bronze’ from Bobbi Brown. (€22)

Hurraw Coconut Lipbalm

Just lovely!!! All natural, vegan, made from premium raw, organic and fair trade ingredients. Super smooth, not draggy, not sticky, not sweet, not too glossy, not too smelly, never grainy, long lasting; plus it holds up in my pocket without melting! I prefer this lipbalm over all the others (Rosebud I am looking at you) It leaves a nice sheen without being sticky and it makes my lips so soft. I love the fact that it doesn’t contain petrolatum. I don’t happen to prefer petrolatum because my lips become so dry when I don’t use it, just call it addictive. I don’t like the whole Hurraw range because of the fragrances (some are very spicy) but I chose the ‘Coconut’ and I love it.  I use it underneath my lipstick and before bedtime (love waking up with smooth, chapfree lips). (4,99/ Bijenkorf or Indisha Webshop).

YSL Rouge Pur Couture #66 ‘Rosewood’

Sophisticated, nice soft rose with a brown undertone (check my review about this lipcolour). The staying power could be better but the shade is very nice. I wear it during the day at work and during the evening with a killer smokey eye. The texture is lovely and it carries that vintage lipstick scent. (34,95)

YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils

Love this mascara in brown and black! It is very creamy, looks very good on my short lashes, it devides my lashes perfectly and I love the fact that it is scented. The brush is just perfect but it picks up a lot of product. The mascara is not to dry and definitely not to wet. I had a wet one a time ago and I hated how it coated my lashes. The Volume Effect Faux Cils is just perfect. Lets not talk about the packaging, I mean do I need to say more? It is considered a splurge but if you ask me I would say well worth your money. (€33,50)
