I have been using the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in the shade ‘Espresso’ for a few weeks now and I love it! I want to share with you why I love it so much and why I find my eyebrows so important.
To Tom Ford, the eyebrows are one of the most important elements of the face. A perfectly groomed and shaped brow is the most powerful non- invasive way to define and enhance your features.
I totally agree with Tom Ford, brows are really important. Never underestimate the power of a well defined brow. In this post I have told my readers that I was never blessed with thick eyebrows. My eyebrows were very thin and looked overly plucked (although I have never plucked them). The Tom Ford Brow Sculptor (€46) was on top of my wishlist for years but I just couldn’t justify the hefty price tag. Tom Ford is not cheap and it was not available in The Netherlands so I had a very good reason to leave it on my list and postpone it.
In Stockholm I coudn’t resist anymore, I made up my mind and decided to buy the browsculptor. For me this is the best brow sculptor ever! The shade ‘espresso’ delivers natural results and has a nice wax like texture. My brows look fuller, they stay in place but above everything they still look very natural, the angled tip is amazing! it helps to create perfect sharp lines and did you know that it comes with a sharpener to keep the tip perfectly angled? Just twist the smaller cap (with the grooming brush) counterclockwise and you will find the sharpener. Don’t underestimate the tip because a fine tip is needed to mimic the natural appearance of the hairs. I used to buy brow pencils but I prefer a sculptor because it has a twist up tube that means no necessary sharpening and because I like the wax like texture better. The color doesn’t fade, it has a good staying power and I don’t go trough it so fast.
If I have to compare the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor with the Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift I would say 1-0 for Tom Ford. I know that they can be compared to eachother and that the Charlotte Tilbury one is considered good! but I still prefer the Tom Ford brow sculptor. The Tom Ford packaging is better and screams luxury while the Charlotte Tilbury brow lift comes in a cheap looking packaging and the texture is slightly different. Overall they are both nice but I slightly prefer the Tom Ford.
